Are you concerned about CO2 capture, pipes, and infrastructure?

Do you want me to cover this topic more often?

Have you already seen these projects in your area? Let me know!

Yes, please cover this.. In our area of So Cal they are plopping BESS ( Battery Energy Storage systems) down in residential areas. These are very dangerous. Couple these with potential CO2 lines and I can;t imagine what might happen. UGHHHH..

Additionally, Lots of people post on social media about loud explosions that no one ever seems to know what they are from. I have often wondered if there could be something coming from underneath us.. Thank you

In my last job we were asked to make a preliminary assessment of the potential CCS sites and the potential for induced seismicity (my area of expertise) for California. There have been a few projects proposed to do this in CA by the private sector and Lawrence Livermore Labs has been working on some initial research projects. I do not think the public realize what is happening as there has been little outreach about this.

I was mostly concerned about leakage from pipes and storage facilities failing and people being asphyxiated, but focused only on the IS literature. California passed a SB a couple years ago, but they did not appear to allocate enough resources to do a good job (IMO) as initial estimates of staff hires were slashed. The Air Resources Board is supposed to take the lead and be the enforcement agency for projects. Then the state hit a budget crisis about a year ago. I was asked to work on the CCS project, but I declined as did not want to be part of it. They were struggling to fill positions. The deadlines baked into the legislature were really tight and there did not appear to be adequate manpower. I don't think it is going to plan. I left that job for various reasons last year, but I could ask what is happening from colleagues still there.

We need MORE CO2 in the environment, not less. The earth has been greening from the very small additional amounts of carbon dioxide.

When CO2 levels decrease to slightly less than what is available now, life on the planet dies.

WE humans are the carbon they want to reduce.

Just to start, this is the greatest exercise in futility in the history of the human race.

Carbon sequestration starves plant life, reduces crop yields and accelerates desertification.

Then add the theft of land by force through eminent domain.

This is insane.
